Museum Induction Package for Volunteers
Arts Tasmania has produced a volunteer induction package to provide an easy-to-use guide for all volunteers who work within Tasmania's community museums. The package contains information about policies and procedures, the roles and responsibilities of volunteers and sample position descriptions for museum volunteers and volunteer supervisors. It can be tailored to fit the needs of your group to create your own volunteers' manual.
Arts Tasmania acknowledges the work of museum consultant Sue Atkinson in providing the template for this package.
