Tasmania

  • The inclusive arts peer network, administered by Contemporary Art Tasmania, connects arts workers across Tasmania to support capacity building, resource sharing and collaborative problem solving.
  • Tasmanian accessibility community is a free monthly meetup group organised by Modality Co. Each month, speakers present on accessibility, disability and inclusive design.

National

  • Accessible Arts - access ideas and insights is a quarterly panel discussion exploring the latest innovations and ideas in access and inclusion. Discussions can be attended in-person or online.
  • The Gathering is a monthly networking forum for d/Deaf and Disabled artists, hosted by Arts Access Victoria.

Tasmanian

  • Aurora Disability Services, also known as the Tasmanian Association of People with Disabilities And Their Advocates Inc., is a registered charity providing services, care and support to adults with disabilities, as well as essential respite for families and carers.
  • Disability Voices Tasmania is a community organisation led by people with disability, building collective advocacy with families and allies.
  • Mosaic Support Services offers a visual art program for people with disability to explore a wide range of artistic mediums.
  • Regional Autistic Engagement Network (RAEN) is a peer-led network by and for Autistic and ADHD community members in the North West of Tasmania.
  • Speak Out, also known as The Speak Out Association of Tasmania, is a statewide membership organisation for people with intellectual and/or cognitive disability.
  • Young Leaders of Tasmania Ltd (YLOT) is a not-for-profit helping young Tasmanians, including those living with disability, to reach their full potential.

National

  • Amaze is Victoria’s peak autism organisation, offering information, resources, support, training and advocacy to Autistic individuals and their communities.
  • Aspect provides autism assessment and diagnosis, schooling, therapy, adult community services, workshops/webinars and resources across Australia.
  • Blind Citizens Australia is the national representative organisation for people who are blind or vision impaired, offering advocacy, peer support and accessibility services.
  • Deaf Australia is a Deaf-led organisation representing all d/Deaf, Deafblind, hard-of-hearing people and other Auslan (Australian Sign Language) users.
  • Deaf Connect is Australia's largest provider of whole-of-life services for d/Deaf, Deafblind, and hard-of-hearing individuals, including Auslan interpreting, therapy, education, and community engagement.
  • Vision Australia is Australia’s leading provider of personalised services, technology and resources for people with blindness and low vision.

  • Artosaurus is a creative social enterprise offering inclusive studio spaces, programs, workshops and community art clubs for people with and without disabilities.
  • Mosaic Support Services offer visual arts programs to people with disability, including painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery making.
  • Second Echo Ensemble is a contemporary arts company based in Nipaluna/Hobart promoting collaboration among artists with people with and without disabilities.

  • Accessible Arts is the peak arts and disability body for New South Wales.
  • Arts Access Victoria is the peak arts and disability body for Victoria.
  • Arts and Disability Network Australia is a national group of disability-led arts organisations advocating for d/Deaf and disabled artists and supporting leadership and inclusion.
  • Access Arts is Queensland’s leading organisation in performing and visual arts for people with disability.
  • Access2Arts is South Australia’s peak arts and disability body, supporting d/Deaf and disabled individuals to engage in the arts at all levels, while assisting arts and cultural organisations to become more inclusive and accessible.
  • DADAA (Disability in the Arts, Disadvantage in the Arts Australia) is a Western Australian organisation empowering people with disability through arts and culture.
  • Darwin Community Arts is a not-for-profit in the Northern Territory supporting community-driven arts and cultural development through accessible programs, workshops and events.

  • A Fairer World is a Tasmanian not-for-profit offering training in diversity, equity and inclusion, co-presented by experienced educators with lived experience.
  • Expression Australia provides advocacy, Auslan interpreting services, Auslan courses, community support services, d/Deaf cultural awareness training and workplace education.
  • Heidi La Paglia Reid is an experienced disability consultant, offering consultations and training.
  • Laura Sheedy is a neurodiversity consultant, advocate and educator, focused on the creative industries and urban design.
  • Modality Co. is a disability-led social enterprise specialising in accessible websites, content, events, and community building.
  • The Office of the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner offers a wide range of training, including disability awareness, all designed to align with the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998 (Tas).

  • Morwenna Collett Consulting offers a range of accessibility, diversity, equity and inclusion related training services with a specialist focus on the arts.
  • Accessible Arts delivers disability-led workshops and consultancy on access, inclusion and cultural confidence for creative organisations.
  • Honeycomb Access and Design provides access consulting, including audits, design reviews, reports, user experience assessments and action plans to meet accessibility standards.

  • Auslan After Dark is an Auslan training and performance organisation led by Michelle Czyzowicz and Ben Richardson.
  • Expression Australia provides advocacy, Auslan interpreting services, Auslan courses, community support services, d/Deaf cultural awareness training and workplace education.
