Building an artistically inclusive future

In 2025 and 2026, Arts Tasmania, in collaboration with Access Consultant and disabled musician Morwenna Collett, delivered a series of access and inclusion capacity-building activities designed specifically for arts organisations and artists across Tasmania. The University of Tasmania also supported this project.
Building an Artistically Inclusive Future connected Tasmanian artists and arts organisations with Morwenna and other leading accessibility experts to build practical skills and confidence in working with artists, audiences, and staff with disability. This initiative created clear pathways for integrating access and inclusion strategies into daily operations while embedding them into the long-term vision of artistic practices and organisational planning.
All training sessions were recorded and are available to watch through the Arts Tasmania website.
