Workshop for museum professionals and volunteers

Would you like to improve the experience visitors have when they visit your collection?
Workshop faciliator Paul Cooper has 25 years' tourism industry experience and has spent more than a decade delivering a Cert III Guiding Program at TasTAFE, Drysdale. He has also delivered training to organisations across the state, including Tasmania’s Visitor Information Centres.
This workshop at QVMAG in Launceston on Thursday, 27 September will focus on visitor services, front of house and guiding.
Participants will gain an understanding of the importance of that first interaction with their visitors and how to make the visitor experience an informed and memorable one.
The workshop is free for Museums Galleries Australia (Tasmania) members and $22 for others.
