Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area

Workshop for museum professionals and volunteers

Wednesday, 29 August 2018

In partnership with the Parks and Wildlife Service we are pleased to announce that we have added a new location to our Tasmanian Residencies program within the Arthur-Pieman Conservation Area.

Reserved in 1982, this reservation stretches along the wild north-west coast of Tasmania.

It is a powerful place of great significance, as the open land was shaped and nurtured by the hands of thousands of generations of Aboriginal families, and its coastline sculpted by the enormous swells of the Southern Ocean.
