The Central North Division Station is a new policing hub for the Longford, Cressy, Evandale and Perth districts.
Applications are sought from contemporary artists to create a graphic collage using archival material to celebrate the history of policing in the community.
The graphic collage could include police records, photos and other social history references to build up an artwork for the entry wall in the foyer area of the new station. The artwork should be a way of telling and sharing the community’s stories and identity.
This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.
