Applications are sought from visual artists from all levels of experience to create a public artwork which is literally integrated into the fabric of Moonah Primary School’s new kindergarten building.
The school sees kindergarten as providing the ‘building blocks’ of learning, and of families’ entry into the school community. It would like to commission an artwork which is built into forms part of the new wall at the entry point to the kindergarten.
The work can be specified in brick or other suitable materials with the assistance of the architect, and will be constructed by the building contractor.
This commission is open to Tasmanian artists only.
