The Tasmanian Government Art Site Scheme Commission
|Location||Henty House, Launceston|
|Artwork||Suspended artwork in Foyer space|
|Artwork budget||$48 600 + GST|
We are seeking applications from contemporary artists to create a suspended artwork to be situated in the foyer of Henty House in the Civic Square, Launceston.
The artwork should provide a welcoming and inviting introduction to this work place, which accommodates a number of government agencies. There is also a desire for the artwork to reference themes of cultural inclusiveness. Aboriginal artists are strongly encouraged to consider this commission as an opportunity to create a work that references cultural histories of the local region.
