Youth Arts Organisations

This program supports projects that actively engage young people (aged 0 to 25 years and under) to develop their creative skills and capacities, and enhance their social health and wellbeing.

This program is a partnership between Arts Tasmania and Screen Tasmania.

Who can apply?

  • Organisations based in Tasmania
  • Organisations conducting a project in Tasmania, with direct benefits for Tasmanian artists and/or participants.

In addition to Arts Tasmania’s general eligibility guidelines, the following also applies:

  • Organisations in receipt of Partner Arts funding under the Organisation Investment Program or administered funding from the Tasmanian Government are not eligible to apply.

What can I apply for?

Organisations can apply for funding towards an artist-led project that engages with youth and involves arts and/or screen content.

Arts Tasmania expects that arts professionals are paid fairly for their work and has developed artist remuneration guidelines for anyone employing or engaging professional artists. Organisations should include artist fees in application budgets.

How much can I apply for?

Organisations can apply for funds of up to $80 000.

How will applications be assessed?

Applications will be assessed by a multi-artform peer panel against the criteria of:

  • quality
  • planning
  • benefit

How do I submit my application?

Your application must be completed online before 11:59 pm on the closing date.

Please contact Arts Tasmania before the closing date if you are unable to submit electronically.

Material received after the closing date will not be considered.
