How are decisions made?

Once you have submitted your application to Arts Tasmania it is processed by the grants team and sent to peer assessors for review.

Arts Tasmania uses peer assessors from the Cultural and Creative Industries Expert Register. Peer assessors are people who work in or are engaged with the arts sector such as artists, administrators or other sector professionals.

The peers review and rank every eligible application against the criteria and meet to discuss the applications. The peers then make a recommendation to the Minister for the Arts, or their delegate, who makes a decision on funded projects based on that recommendation

If your application is successful, you will receive notification from the Minister for the Arts.

If your application is not successful, you will receive notification from Arts Tasmania.
