About Residencies
The Residencies Program incorporates a series of opportunities that encourage an exchange of ideas, skills and creativity. Funding may be sought for projects that support strategic opportunities for Tasmanian artists to connect with other artists, organisations or places that will inspire career and/or artistic development.
Tasmanian Artists' Residencies
For Tasmanian artists to undertake a self-initiated residency locally, nationally or internationally. Applicants can pursue opportunities that provide access to facilities, technologies, technicians or organisations that will support their creative development, skills development or prospects of commercialisation.
Natural and Cultural Residencies
For Tasmanian artists, working in any art-form, to undertake residencies in one of 13 sites of ecological and/or cultural significance within Tasmania's designated parks, at iconic heritage listed sites or within one of Tasmania's many friendly communities.
International Artists' Residencies
(not available in 2010 but may be considered for 2011)
