Public Art talk with international sculptor Peter Lundberg
Monday, 25 February 2013
arts@work, in association with Ten Days on the Island, invites you to a presentation and discussion on public art with internationally recognised sculptor and curator, Peter Lundberg.
Peter will speak about his personal experiences living and working as a sculptor and curator around the world, including the development of sculpture parks and public art commissions in Australia, China, America and Germany. Peter was the recipient of the 2012 Sculpture by the Sea Bondi Prize and has been invited by Ten Days on the Island to curate the work of Tasmanian artist Marcus Tatton, at the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hobart.
This is a great opportunity for artists, architects, designers and those working in arts organisations and local government with an interest in public art, to meet with Peter and discuss public art in a global context.
