Arts Tasmania and the Australia Council for the Arts are hitting the road around Tasmania to give you the lowdown on the many opportunities available for artists locally and nationally. We are offering a number of different options in each location – you can sign up for one or all including:

  1. Forum – come along to a 90 min forum to learn more about federal funding opportunities and the range of different opportunities provided by Arts Tasmania to support artists and arts organisations through our investment and industry development programs. Click here to register
  2. Grant application 3 hour workshop – everything you ever wanted to know about applying for arts grants. Click here to register
  3. Meet with a Public Art Program Officer – Arts Tasmania manages around 40 commissions each year so book a 20 min meeting to discuss anything that could help you submit an application or secure a commission. See dates below and call 6165 6666 to book an appointment.
  4. Consider your Professional Development – book a 20 minute slot to talk with the Arts Tasmania Professional Development Officer about your arts practice, career directions and advice on individual development opportunities. See dates below and call 6165 6666 to book an appointment.
  5. Meet with an Australia Council representative – find out what opportunities are offered nationally through the Australia Council for the Arts that might be relevant to you. See dates below and call 6165 6666 to book an appointment.

All the appointments, forums and workshops are free, but bookings are essential. There are limited appointments available so if you book and appointment but then can’t make it please let us know as we anticipate having waiting lists and we will be able to give someone else the spot.
