Tasmania Performs - first bombshells, then happiness
The first Tasmania Performs regional tour of 08 was a huge success with more to follow in September…
Tasmania Performs presented the Tasmanian Theatre Company production of Bombshells across the state last week which played to full halls and appreciative crowds. The Stanley Hall Committee purchased the show as a fundraiser and they were able to make $2000 profit in one night for their renovation plans and the St Helens audience laughed so hard you may have heard them in Queenstown!
The next production Happy Me is a new Tasmanian Musical about love, loss and happiness, written and composed by Tony Carew, Anne Grainger, Travis Hennessy and Georgina Todman. Happy Me will tour right around the state for the first three weeks in September and there are still three or four dates to fill so if you know a motivated organisation that would love a fun, high quality, low fuss, well organised fundraiser…make sure they contact Annette Downs, Producer of Tasmania Performs.
