Now in its third year, the Design Island initiative has emerged as a benchmark for knowledge leadership in the fields of best practice and professional development for designers.

Registrations are open for the globally-recognised event which features a program unlike any other and is a launch pad for international careers.

Design Island is a Tasmanian Government initiative supporting best professional practice and exposure of Tasmanian design and craft through annual exhibitions, internationally recognised forums and the world class Bay of Fires Walk Workshop.

It is synonymous with quality and positions Tasmania as a knowledge leader and centre for creativity.

The program facilitates national and international networks, export market development and best practice in the business of design.
