Cultural Collaboration: connecting the arts in Tasmania with the rest of world

Are you an artist interested in connecting the arts in Tasmania with the rest of the world?

Or have you recently been offered an opportunity to exchange ideas, skills and creativity or work with and build relationships with other artists or arts organisations interstate and or overseas?

If so, then Cultural Collaboration is for you. This out-of-season program provides funding assistance to allow Tasmanian artists working in any artform to take up significant cultural collaboration opportunities, such as residencies, professional development workshops and mentorships, or to develop their work interstate or overseas in ways that are strategically important to their career development.

It also provides funding assistance towards costs associated with supporting an artist from outside Tasmania to come to the State on the proviso that significant outcomes for Tasmania are proposed.

Applications will be accepted only from applicants who reside in Tasmania and those who have either received an invitation from a host organisation, or who are facilitating an artist's collaboration in Tasmania.

A cap of $4,000 is placed on Cultural Collaboration applications. Notification takes up to six weeks (30 working days) from the submission of the application, and projects may not be undertaken prior to that advice.
