A new Minister for the Arts

Michelle O'Byrne MP will take over the arts ministerial portfolio from 12 February 2008.

Premier Paul Lennon has announced that Ms O'Byrne will take over the ministerial portfolios of environment, heritage, arts, sport and recreation, along with a number of other changes to Cabinet portfolios.

The new Ministry will be sworn in on 12 February 2008.
