146 arts Exhibition Program - Submissions Now Open

Arts Tasmania and arts@work would like to invite artists, artist run initiatives, curators and arts organisations to submit applications for the 2009 Exhibition Program at 146 arts.

Exhibition proposals are invited from artists presenting new work or work which has not previously been shown in a gallery context. Proposals from artists working in any media are encouraged.

Maximum exhibition duration is 4 weeks and must commence at the beginning of the month. Exhibition periods that are available include the months of June, August, September, October, November and December.

The gallery will be available at no cost to the artist or group. Arts Tasmania will staff the gallery space during the exhibition; however all other expenses, such as the launch, promotion, catalogues and advertising is the responsibility of the applicant.

To apply, please read and complete the Exhibition Policy and Application Form and supply Arts Tasmania with all relevant support material. Be sure to indicate which month would suit you or your group best for your exhibition proposal. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of April.
