About this funding round

Artsbridge connect provides funds for freight, fares, accommodation, living allowances and fees to assist Tasmanian artists and arts organisations to invite a leading national or international arts professional or practitioner to Tasmania to conduct creative and/or professional development opportunities for the benefit of a group of Tasmanian artists.

Artsbridge connect is available for projects and opportunities that arise after the relevant grant round closing date and which cannot be delayed until the next funding round.

Applications will only be accepted from applicants who have received a written confirmation and agreement from the visitor of the activities to be undertaken and with a confirmed timeline.

Notification will take up to 30 working days from the submission of the application and projects may not be undertaken prior to that advice. As the program is becoming increasingly competitive and funds are limited, it is advisable to submit applications as early as practicable. The fund may be fully expended towards the latter part of the year.
