The funds for this program were generously donated to Arts Tasmania by former Tasmanian Arts Advisory Board member, and past chair of the Small Museums and Collections Panel, Mrs Lynne Stacpoole.

Grants

The following organisations have received funding through the Lynne Stacpoole Caring for Your Collection 2016 program.

Ulverstone History Museum
$2 000
Ulverstone History Museum is the first recipient of the new matching grant, and will use the funds to purchase a number of display plinths and cabinetry.

The museum will receive a grant of $2 000, (half donated funds, half Arts Tasmania funds) and source $1 000 from their community, making it a three way partnership – private, state government and community.

The Furneaux Museum

For the purchase of a perspex display cover for their muttonbirding artefacts.

Scots Memorial Museum & Heritage
$1 000
For the purchase of acrylic domes, book holders and supports for items their collection.
