The Tasmanian Government Art Site Scheme Commission
Expressions of interest are sought from contemporary artists to create a series of internal screen elements to be situated in the office entrance area of the TMD office, Level 9, 22-26 Elizabeth Street (ANZ Centre) Hobart.
In order to distinguish the route through the desks to the general staff area, the client would like to commission a visual artist/designer maker to make two screens to direct people arriving on level 9 from the lifts to the general staff room and kitchenette (located at the rear of the level 9). The screens will also serve as an entry artwork viewed upon arrival and will be a welcoming artwork at the entrance.

Expressions of interest are sought from contemporary artists to create a series of wall and window mounted artworks to be situated in the library, hallway and administration areas of the St Leonards Primary School.
This commission is for an artist to produce three small artworks based on an environmental sustainability theme and as such assist the students understanding of sustainability issues. The artworks need to be mounted onto two walls and possibly a window area. The wall works could be 2D or 3D and could have moving parts or incorporate lighting. The materials for the artwork could include recycled materials such as glass, plastics, metal and timber etc. Other suitable materials may be considered for this commission.

Expressions of interest are sought from contemporary artists to purchase pre-existing artwork (2D + small 3D) for 9 rural health facilities around the state to be situated internally.
Artworks purchased for these health care projects will help to create diversion, stimulation and visual interest for the patients who visit the centres and for the staff that work there. Artists need to consider the nature of the Rural Inter-professional Clinical Education and Training Centres (RICETCs) and the students who will be training at the centres, as well as diversity of patients and family accessing the Palliative Care Centres.

Artwork budget: Budgets vary from $500 to max $5000 + GST (if applicable) but total purchases for all locations is $32000

Expressions of interest are sought from contemporary artists to create internal artwork to be situated in the central link corridor and furniture to be placed in the activities/reading room of the King Island District Hospital and Health Centre. The link corridor artwork will be placed within the existing window cavities; the old windows and frames will need to be entirely removed with the outer frame remaining. There is also the opportunity to add a ceiling component as well. Now for some fun … games table/s and cabinet/familial focus for clients, staff and visitors of the Residential Care Unit.

Register of 2-D works
A register of two-dimensional art has been developed to simplify the acquisition of works on paper or canvas. Artists are invited to submit details of up to 10 works available for purchase and these works will be considered without further application by the artist. It is the responsibility of the artist to keep their registration details up-to-date.
